Re: May 1, 2008 (May Day)
 
Dear Members and Non Members,
 
On May 1, 2008 sisters and brothers from Metro APWU (New York), NALC Branch 214 (San Francisco), San Francisco Labor Council and NALC Branch 630 (Greensboro, NC) will do a 2-minute moment of silence (not work stoppage) for an anti-war affair.
 
NALC Branch 936 (High Point, NC) decided to join these Unions, and High Point will also be remembering those brothers and sisters who have lost their lives on the job (Worker Memorial) and in this on going (Iraqi/Afghanistan) war.
 
Brothers and sisters for Local High Point 4560 (APWU) and NARLC (Rural Carriers) will be joining in this memorable occasion, which will take place at 9:15 AM-9:17 AM.
